MILUNODES (Freely inspired by “Mattina” by G. Ungaretti)

In writing this composition I tried to combine elements from classical music such as Bach’s chorales and late fugue, serialism, logic of chance, literature and of course, improvisation.
MUSIC FOR MR. LOPATO
For prepared piano, prepared sax and environment sounds
This composition came out because of an assignement given by Mr. David Lopato while I was at school in NYC and it is my first attempt to use no designated pitches.
